Newport Restaurant Week | Owen OConnor Providence, RI

Owen O’Connor had the opportunity to attend Newport Rhode Island Restaurant Week last week, which is part of a nationwide movement, debuted here in 2006 as an annual event to encourage both residents and visitors to Newport and Bristol counties to experience the vast culinary talent in our destination at an affordable price. Newport Restaurant Week takes place both in the spring and in the fall with more than 50 participating restaurants offering extraordinary three-course prix fixe lunches for $16 and three-course prix fixe dinners for $35.  Owen O’Connor chose to dine at Cafe Zelda, located towards the end of Thames St, which provided a delicious menu in the evening hour.  Owen and his party dined on shrimp, steak and lamb as part of the $35 dinner menu.  Learn more about Cafe Zelda here:  http://www.cafezelda.com/
